How to create an event on your page

On every project page on ChangeX you have the option to create events. Some groups host events regularly, often monthly, like Grow It Yourself Groups, Parkruns or Poetry in the Park. Others have special event days like Men's Sheds or Urban Thinkscape.

We allow you to create your event right on ChangeX, so that you can invite people easily via Email or Social Media and so that people can RSVP to your event. 

So how do you create an event? 

Firstly, you need to log in and get to your page. 

  • Go to 

  • Click on Log in

  • On your My ChangeX page you can see the pages you manage on the right hand side. Click on View to get to your page. 

Then, click on Create Event in your top navigation. 

You're now brought to a page where you can fill in all the information about your event: when, where, what. 

Before you publish your event, you can choose to automatically send the invite to everyone who has joined your page as a member and/or you add email addresses of people you would like to invite. 

That's it! Your event invite will be sent out, and it will appear on your page as an upcoming event.
